The Midwifery Folklorist™

Oral Archive & Lunar Gathering Space

Beneath the celestial rhythm of the new and full moon, we gather—live, virtually, and in sacred in-person recording sessions—to honor the voices, wisdom, and spiritual power of ancestral midwifery. This is not just a meeting space; it is an invocation, a reclamation, a living archive where the echoes of our foremothers are preserved and uplifted.

As a Black woman, identifying as a Moon Goddess for 18-years, Midwife, Priestess, and a Cultural Preservationist, I have created this space to serve as a sacred vessel—where the oral traditions, rituals, and embodied knowledge of Folk Midwives™ and Birth Priestesses™ are safeguarded. Our purpose is to ensure that the wisdom carried through generations is not lost to time but continues to breathe life into our present and future.

Through these gatherings, we build more than an archive; we forge a movement. A movement where the whispers of midwives long passed become a guiding force for the ones still to come. Where our stories—told in our own voices—become history that cannot be erased. Here, we do not simply remember; we restore, we reclaim, and we affirm the divine authority of those who have ushered life into the world through sacred ancestral birthwork.

Every session is a gathering of kindred spirits—scholars, birthworkers, priestesses, griots, and those called to witness and participate in the preservation of our cultural birth traditions. Together, we create a body of knowledge that will outlive us, standing as a testament to the resilience, divinity, and power of Black midwives and birth keepers across time.

Join us in this sacred work. Come as you are, and leave forever changed.
